Privacy Policy

Marketsync Global Ltd. ("we") is the data controller for personal data processed via exports.bd. We are committed to lawful, fair and transparent processing.

1. Data we collect

• Account data: name, email, company name, country, role (buyer / exporter).
• Business data: product listings, RFQs, quotes, deals, uploaded trade documents, verification metadata.
• Communications: in-platform messages and support enquiries.
• Technical data: IP address, browser, device, session identifiers, and security logs.

2. Purposes & legal bases

• Providing the Platform and executing the contract with you (Terms of Service).
• Complying with legal, tax, export-control and anti-money-laundering obligations.
• Preventing fraud, abuse and security incidents (legitimate interests).
• Improving the Platform through aggregated, non-identifying analytics (legitimate interests).

3. Sharing

Personal data is shared with vetted processors strictly to run the Platform: Supabase (database, auth, storage), Resend (transactional email), Firecrawl (public web verification lookups), and Google/Anthropic AI providers for model inference on non-sensitive prompts. We do not sell personal data and do not use it for third-party advertising.

4. International transfers

Some processors are located outside Bangladesh. Where required we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards. You accept these transfers by using the Platform.

5. Retention

Account and business records are retained while your account is active and for up to seven (7) years thereafter to satisfy tax and trade record-keeping obligations. Security logs are kept for 12 months.

6. Your rights

Subject to applicable law you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing. Send requests to privacy@exports.bd. We respond within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

7. Security

We apply row-level security in the database, TLS in transit, restrictive storage policies for trade documents, and hardened authentication. Report vulnerabilities to security@exports.bd.

8. Children

The Platform is not directed to children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
